Overview
Complete ticket-sales platform where every ticket is registered on blockchain as a unique digital asset, eliminating counterfeiting. The purchase requires no network-fee payment from the user, authentication happens through the phone's biometrics, and tickets can be transferred or reused across different events.
The problem
The ticket market suffers from large-scale counterfeiting, scalpers charging excessive prices with no transparency, fees ranging from eight to twelve per cent on each sale, a confusing user experience in existing blockchain solutions, and credits locked to a single event that waste the audience's money.
Approach
Replaces traditional tickets with a digital equivalent that cannot be counterfeited, opens a transparent resale market with no scalpers, lets the user buy credits usable across different events, and offers an experience similar to that of regular apps, with no blockchain knowledge required from the buyer.
Impact
Five per cent fee, compared with eight to twelve in the market. Transactions completed in seconds, with no network cost to the buyer. Counterfeiting eliminated by design. Presented at Meridian Hack 2025, in Rio de Janeiro.
